Vincent is a massive advocate for Australian Medicine and Medical Tourism, for good reason. He’s experienced some life changing results first hand! After emigrating from China to Australia in 2000 Vincent soon became the most respected Chinese speaking tour guide on the Gold Coast. A few years later, he was given some terrible news. His Father-in-Law back home was diagnosed with malignant Liver Cancer and his doctor had told him there was no hope.
Vincent, having seen the effectiveness of the Australian medical system since living here, decided he would fly his father-in-law out for a second opinion.
What a decision that turned out to be! The Australian doctor picked something the Chinese doctor had missed. After scheduling surgery, Vincent’s father-in-law made a complete recovery!
This sparked a lightbulb moment in Vincent where he decided that he wasn’t going to keep this miracle to himself. After earning a certificate in the Australian Healthcare System as well as an MBA from the University of Queensland. On top of almost 10 years of working as a Sole Trader bringing in people to get the treatment they deserve, he founded QLM in 2019 to take it to the next level.
Just like that, Vincent and QLM set out on a journey to connect global clients with the world’s best top private healthcare services. Striving to build a trusted, international brand in medical tourism and health management.
Being born the son of a Doctor & Nurse made Ben see the world differently. Growing up with stories of just how effective medicine can be when done correctly and with care was inspiration enough to want to make the world a better place.
Ben is an ideas man, which meant not following in his parents’ footsteps. Instead he pursued a career in Marketing with a strong focus on tourism & health. In an act of serendipity an opportunity presented itself for him to pursue his love of tourism and medical upbringing through QLM.
He knew the joy of tourism and didn’t want anyone to miss out. Realising that medical facilities worldwide are getting better by the day presented the opportunity to really help people that Ben craved. A mixture of “what you know” AND “who you know” put Ben in a unique position to do something pretty special, and the rest is history.
